Apple/Mac computers can get viruses just like Microsoft Windows computers, but not to the same extent. I’ve witnessed apple malware and Windows malware and Windows malware causes the most damage and support cost. Another reason is to protect files shared with Windows users so it doesn’t harm their computers.
