I was on a service call today performing a computer check-up and tune-up. My client’s computer had thousands of files in various folders on their Windows 10 computer. My client hasn’t copied any of these files to a backup device that they could remember. If the built-in storage device fails, they could lose everything. I encouraged them to back everything up to a USB device to protect 10 years of their work. They are going to do this soon they said and I say as sooner the better since the storage device could fail at any time.
