What happens if one of your computer services partners like your email or cloud storage gets taken down by Ransomware? Try and have a backup of all your data locally and off-line on an external hard drive or thumb drive in case your cloud storage goes down.

If your email provider goes down, then have a secondary email address ready to go. In my case I have my business email with one major website company. I also have email accounts with a major internet provider plus some other email accounts with other companies. A good idea is to put the email addresses for all your important people in your contact information so you can put their addresses in your secondary email if the main one is unavailable.

Make sure your contacts can find or know your website address so they can leave a message there. Your telephone number should be easy to find if they want to call you if your email is down. Remember social media sites have messaging abilities that can be used to communicate, too
