David talks about the huge amount of electricity the AI data centers consume which has caused electrical rates to increase.
AI is used for surveillance and tracking the citizens of the world. We were already being surveilled and tracked before AI- it’s just easier with AI. And the worst thing I’ve heard is AI is reducing jobs by doing things people did. Computer programming and attorneys are two jobs I’ve heard are being shook up with AI replacement.
I had AI steal information from an article on one of my web sites this year. It was presented it in a search I did on a fitness class and didn’t list my web site as a source. I recognized the information it returned as my article almost word for word. Sadly, the article was years old and not true any longer.
