Not long ago I got contacted by a company for the first time.  Their main personal computer wouldn’t power one any more.  I found out someone was working on an electrical light and the circuit breaker tripped.  It took down the running computer and ever since, it won’t come back on.

This is one reason I emphasize that all computers should have an Uninterruptible Power Supply on the electrical power line.  These will sense the electrical drop and supply power to keep the computer on.  They also stop electrical surges.  After I made a on-site service call, it was discovered the computer’s power supply was damaged and that’s why the computer won’t start.
