Last month a new business called me reporting their email account couldn’t send messages for the last two weeks.  They can receive messages during this entire time.

I arrived on-site and began looking through the email account settings and really couldn’t find what I was looking for.  They were using a paid business email system so technical support should be available.  On the accounts web page they were no phone numbers  listed and we tried a chat which went nowhere.  It was an AI robot which gave us canned answers and was worthless.

In my contacts l found the company’s phone number so we called them.
After several minutes of verification, a tech support agent started helping us and we found out their email account was flagged for spam and stopped from sending.  We never could figure out what happened or who blocked it.  We were told it was cleaned up and it should be working again in a few days.  They were going to email me but I never got anything.

When i checked back with my client, they said the email started working again magically but they were never contacted either. I did discover they did have another email account but had never used it and didn’t know the password,  I encouraged them to work on getting it active in case this ever happens again.
