I looked down at my smartphone this afternoon and saw voicemail was waiting. Most of my phone calls get answered as they arrive even though many are spam. Usually what happens is I answer a phone call and if it’s spam, I hang up or let them disconnect after I let the call go on forever. If the phone number is blocked, they still leave a voice message somehow.
When I checked my messages, I was startled to learn a business client called needing assistance. The call was returned and I asked when he called and it was October 21st! His call did show up in my missed calls today and I never heard his message until today. My voicemail is going to be checked more often in the future to see if I have a message even if nothing shows up in my smartphone alerts.
