Last week I delivered a repaired PC to a client at their business. They connected the PC to the peripherals themselves since I had another appointment to get to. An hour or two later they called explaining the monitors were both blank. They were instructed to shut down the computer. Then I asked them to power it back own. Now, the monitors displayed information. My client said earlier hey turned on the PC and then connected the monitor cables: HDMI and VGA. This time the Windows startup screen appeared on the monitors and my client was happy to see them. Now they know to connect monitors first then turn on the computer.
