I don’t remember who it was, but a networker back in 2007-2008 talked about leaving a business card at restaurants after their meal. I’ve been doing that ever since and yesterday it paid off again. I got a call from an author and blogger who found my card at the cash register of a restaurant that I frequent for a networking group. I made a service call and solved three or four of their computer/blog/scanner problems. They said they will call me again when they have problems or need training for something. I leave a business card most places where I purchase something and it pays off occasionally like this case.
