A long-time computer client asked me to look at their Apple laptop they’ve owned for many years. It’s very slow to start and it would stall when loading the desktop. Eventually, It rebooted and start the agonizing process all over again. All sorts of things were tried and I finally got it to start in Apple Safe mode. From here I checked the hard drive space and it was half full. When I restarted the laptop, I didn’t let it open the current windows. I did this by unchecking a pop-up box.
Now it restarts and goes right into the Apple desktop and is ready for use. The Safe mode must have fixed the problem. Safe mode fixes little things according to one of my books and it worked this time.
Remember, I work on Apple computers as well as Windows.
