I hear different information about protecting Apple laptops with anti-virus software depending who I listen to. Some say you need it and others say you don’t. The ones that say you don’t say you need to keep the operating system and applications updated. On one of my Apple laptops I use Comodo Anti-virus. The newer one has Avira free installed. To my knowledge, neither one has caught anything yet. I do the best to keep them updated and perhaps that’s why the anti-virus programs haven’t caught anything.
