One of my service calls last month was looking at a Chromebase All-in-one computer. It was exhibiting a system error message which never left the screen. Several things were tried which never worked. The system error message mentioned pressing the reset key on the keyboard. My problem was that the keyboard they mentioned is a Chromebook keyboard and not the USB PC keyboard that is connected. My client has a Bluetooth Chromebook keyboard, but it isn’t responding in this error state. I tried all the keys on this PC keyboard and they failed to respond to any sort of reset key function.
So now I’ve been trying to find a Chromebook USB keyboard on the internet and haven’t had much luck. I’ll try again today and see if someone has one.
