Why can’t Xfinity Stream play on my Linux computers?

I love using the Linux operating system on desktop and laptop computers. It doesn’t have the update issues which I see with Microsoft Windows computers where updates refuse to install or corrupts Windows so it won’t start. Linux is also safer where malicious software like viruses are involved. It can do anything Microsoft Windows can do except one thing; it won’t play video from Comcast subscribers on Xfinity Stream. Stream allows us Comcast subscribers to view our live and recorded television shows on our computers. It works on Microsoft Windows computers and I’ve tried different web browsers in Linux. The error message I receive is, “Your system isn’t compatible with XFINITY Stream. Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7+, Mac OS X 10.7+” Has anyone got Xfinity Stream to play on a Linux computer? I would sure love to watch it on my Linux computers!
