One of my services for my computer repair clients is malware(virus) detection and prevention. There are many products out there like McAfee, Avast, Kapersky and AVG. I prefer Comodo products but I’ll work with any of them. Comodo has versions for Microsoft windows and Linux operating systems. A few years ago, Comodo ran fine in Linux Mint but in versions above 17, I can never get it to run after installing it.

Last night I tried removing Comodo with the Linux Mint Synaptic Package Manager and this didn’t help. Removing it another way didn’t help either. I may have to find another anti-virus product for Linux if this isn’t figured out soon.
