Last week I helped a computer customer with their Windows 10 laptop. They were being nagged constantly about the wrong password for their Microsoft account even after they logged in successfully to Windows 10. They were tired of it and asked for help. I tried to determine the correct password and my customer didn’t know. They just wanted it gone so I changed the Microsoft account login to a local one in control panel under Manage Accounts. Just be aware when you do, you’ll lose the automatic connection to the Microsoft cloud for dropbox, Office365 storage and synciing accross all your Windows 10 devices.

I do use my Microsoft account for the Developers Windows preview and I do log in to it on one of my Windows 10 laptops. On my other Windows 10 laptop I use a regular local account. It just depends on what you want to do as to which account you want to use.
