Windows 10 has a neat, built-in screen capture tool called the Snipping Tool. I use it to grab parts of my desktop screen to create images for my blogs. It’s pretty simple to use. You can open it by typing “snip” in the search window next to the start button in Windows 10. When “Snipping Tool” pops up, go ahead and open it. To create a new capture, click New on the menu and then use the pointing device to “lasso” your desktop image. Then you can save the image under “File”. A highlighter also exists. There’s a version in Windows 7 from what I can remember, although I never used it often.
