One of my long-time clients called me this week with a computer problem. When they turned on their monitor and computer, the windows 10 screen briefly appeared and then disappeared. We assumed the monitor died. We scheduled a service call for the next day so I could bring out a couple of replacement monitors. When I arrived the old monitor was swapped with a wider monitor I brought. It worked fine and my client was glad to be back in business. I will check with my client if a few days to see how it’s doing.
Before I left, I looked at the monitor label to see the date of manufacture. Every computer monitor usually has a date on it. I was surprised to see 2004 stamped on it. That makes it 19 years old which is very old for a monitor.
