For the past twelve years I have attended business networking groups almost every week.  It accounts for most of my computer repair business and business information. I also help run a networking group for the New Haven Indiana Chamber of Commerce which meets weekly on Tuesdays at Noon.

One of the rules I follow is to network regularly. For me it turns out to be weekly – others do it more sporadically.  But what if you are busy and think you have no time? Do you need to network at business meetings? Should you do it only when business allows you?

There are enough benefits to a business person that time should be made to network in a group every week or two. Besides the obvious benefit of more people knowing your company, it gives you experience speaking in front of a group, you learn about different industries, and you learn business information you can apply directly.
