A new Computer Repair client contacted me last week for inkjet printer assistance. When I arrived in their office, I tried sending a printer test page to the Epson printer. The printer was turned on and shortly after an alert appeared on the printer display. It asked us to extend the output tray. there are three trays and two were for loading paper. We finally found the output tray and once we pulled it out, the print job took off.
This is the first time I’ve seen a printer require an output tray to be extended. All the ones i’ve used would just shoot the paper on the floor if a output tray wasn’t all the way extended.
