My company doesn’t have a landline phone because I’m out and about much of the day and no would be able to answer it. I do have a smartphone and this is my main communications device. I can answer it as I’m at the gym or driving or at a relative’s house. The smartphone also has texting, email and social media capabilities. This also allows me to respond fairly fast to a computer client’s needs.
Additionally, I have client files on the smartphone which is great for reviewing their history and information for a service call. These include invoices, pictures, hand-written notes and other files. In my contacts are notes on my clients which make it better for me during visits to their offices.
Do you your smartphone for business? How about a land-line phone?
