I’ve been making an effort to learn more about Microsoft Windows 11. this is in spite of me being a Unix/Linux person for most of my equipment. Most of my computer clients are Microsoft Windows users so it’s better for them if I know more bout Windows 11.
One of the computers I have is a desktop Dell computer. I repaired this last winter and it now has the ability to run either Linux Mint or Windows 11. It’s being used for testing Windows 11 and it has an odd issue I’ve discovered. The sound works in Linux but intermittently in Windows. When Windows is started, you can hear the Microsoft Windows 11 sound. But after it gets everything loaded, no more sound. Other times I have sound for some programs.
