I was at a commercial client’s today working on a printer problem. When I was leaving , my client of seven years said to me they’d have to quit their job if it wasn’t for me helping with their computer. That made me feel great. They went on to explain that everything they do involves the computer. The entire accounting system is run on the computer. They correspond with everyone via email. Work proposals are printed from the computer to their printer. The government, banks and others all want reports filed on-line. As you can see everything is on the computer and their business couldn’t function without it. When the computer has a problem, they don’t have the expertise or patience sometimes to solve it and that’s why they like me over my competition. It’s nice to be appreciated!
