I set up a lot of new computers for business and personal clients. One of the many tasks I perform is installing and configuring web browsers. Part of configuration is importing bookmarks from your previous browser on the old computer into the new computer’s browser.

All the browsers I’ve seen lately have the export and import functions but they are under different headings or locations. In Firefox look under the Application menu (the 3 stacked horizontal lines). Choose bookmarks and then the rest is easy to figure out. I always export to an html file since it’s recognized by all web browsers

To import – it’s the reverse process and typically found under menu on the upper right under bookmarks.
