I’ve been hearing about Windows 10 and its end of life for a month or so.  It may be Oct 2025 from tech podcasts and articles that I see. This could change because it’s Microsoft’s decision and it usually does as users complain.  Windows 10 is on three or five of my laptops and desktops and I’ve gotten accustomed to it. From my experience, Microsoft is always pushing users to move to the next Windows version where you will spend more money,

Usually I coach my clients to stay on their current version as long as it’s supported with updates.  In some cases I have helped them install a different operating system called Linux next to their Windows. It allows them to boot into either one.  Then they could stay safe on the internet with Linux and still be able to get to their old Windows programs and their files when they boot into Windows.
