I read computer books to stay current with my fast-paced industry. Windows 11 is the latest OS available to the world and I’m using it on one of my business computers. this book was a general information book about features and I learned some interested facts. One of them is the task bar for 11 cannot be moved from the bottom position of the desktop. In contrast, it can be moved to the top or either side in previous version like 10 and 7. For instance on my Windows 10 desktop in my office, the taskbar is on the right side and I like it here.
I don’t know why Microsoft made it unmovable but it was nice to be able to move it to the sides of the Windows desktop in the older versions. Now that I think about it, it may be because Windows 11 can be be used on many platforms and some can’t handle side taskbars.
