Recently, a computer repair client told me a story of a computer place who wouldn’t listen to them. This was before they found me for their computer needs. My client didn’t want a password for their Windows operating system. It was in a locked building and no one but the family was using it. The computer place said it wasn’t safe to have a blank password and made them create one for it. My client wasn’t pleased with this because one of the users of the computer has problems using one and a password just makes it harder for them. It is safer for computer security to have a password, but it is your computer. If you don’t want one I wouldn’t force one on you.
