During my computer reading yesterday I found a “new to me” search engine based on AI. The computer site I was reading was Ask Woody tech. The search engine is perplexity.ai and works like any other search engine. The thing the writer liked about it over Google is there aren’t any sponsored ads or results clogging up your results. I found this to be true on my searches as well and it resembles the results I find on startpage.com search engines.
I did a search on the local county election and found the results fast and uncluttered. Searching my name yielded a pretty good description and links. The results are below. I don’t know what AI engine Perplexity uses – but in the short time I’ve used it I’ve been impressed.
