On my Lenovo laptop I’ve been seeing a message about the OS build expiring. Windows 11 has different OS builds that have various release dates and features. Mine is an older one which has been been retired. I’m running Windows updates now to see what options I have to keep my laptop protected.
While looking for Microsoft Windows updates, I found Lenovo updates through their program I have running in startup. There was a driver update for my video or network adapter. A BIOS updater utility was also available which I allowed to install. The picture above was from the installation process and you can see it’s dangerous to shut the laptop down or disconnect power.
