Like many others I watch all kinds of videos on the internet and many I want to save for myself so I can watch off-line.  Over the years I’ve tried to  download on different web browsers.  the only way it ever worked was to  install an extension or plug-in.  Ant video downloader was one I used for years on Mozilla Firefox.  Today I wanted to download a T. Rex concert from YouTube so I started searching through the Firefox extensions on my Linux Mint 20 kitchen laptop.  I found a top-rated one called video downloader helper.  I installed it and an icon now displays along the upper right corner of Firefox.  It’s kind of hard to determine when a video is downloading after I  click on the blue and red icon.   It took awhile to find  it’s download folder but it is under /Home/dwhelper.

Do you something different to download internet videos?  What do you use?
