For the last month I’ve been trying to fix the updates on my work laptop. It won’t download and install Windows updates. It may have something to do with it being on the Insider preview release OS and not the regular release. After I bought the laptop, I left the OS that it came with for a year. Then I got the idea to update it to the Developers channel for the Insider Preview. It ran fine for months and now the version I’m on has expired and I can’t get a new one downloaded. Other things aren’t working correctly like opening the services applet or running as Administrator. I’ve tried doing system restores and they don’t have any restore points to use. I’m probably going to a completely reinstall Windows 11. Stay Tuned
